Blenheim, ON, June 17, 2025: The Blenheim Health Hub welcomes new family physician.

Endorsed by the Chatham Kent Family Health Team, the Blenheim Medical Health Foundation is extremely excited to announce the successful recruitment of our 2nd family physician.

Dr. Kaelan Harwood was born and raised in Toronto and spent her summers in Rondeau at her family cottage. She also holds fond memories of time spent with extended family in Chatham.

Dr. Harwood completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph followed by additional training through a Master’s Certificate Program in Global Health from the University of Edinburgh.

She earned her medical degree from University College Cork in Ireland. She is currently completing her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Harwood is excited to join and serve the Chatham-Kent community. Her practice will focus on providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals across all stages of life, with a particular interest in all aspects of women’s health and preventative medicine. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and continuity of care.

She is planning to start her practice January 2026 at the new Blenheim Health Hub.

She will be pulling patients from Healthcare Connect. Please ensure to register online or by phone.
